According to recent reports, Google is looking to follow suit with its next Android update. While no exact information has been shared with the public, it seems Google intends to conjure up software fiercely similar to that of Apple, in the aims to eliminate third-party cookies but still allow for ad targeting.  

With Google being so incredibly intertwined with advertising and ad targeting making up for a considerable amount of its profit, it will be tricky for Google to navigate these privacy issues whilst still maintaining its incredibly accurate targeting algorithm.
